View Full Version : Supernatural (Season 3) : Spoilers
Reasonable season opener. If it ain't broke, dont fix it by the look of things. The mystery blonde was fine & I loved the scene when she got to work with her demon-killin' knife.
What's in the box!!
Very much more of the same format, but that's part of what I enjoy about the show, along with some of the best one-liners going :D

it was great as usual, I just wish some of the friends stick around a bit longer than one episode at a time.

Good solid opening.
I creased up when Dean gave Sam the thumbs up at the start  I'm guessing that the demon-killing-hottie was unleased at the same time as the rest of the demons...
Pretty cool opening. Glad they killed off the married couple (well one of them) partnership as they would have been annoying long term! As people have said, if it ain't broke ...

ha ha yeah i loved it :D
Much better episode this week. The kids were creepy, Dean's ex was Hot, the creatures were nasty looking & best of all, the Dean Jnr comedy was
Loved the Dean Jnr stuff, but did anyone else feel that there was something slightly off about this weeks show?
Can't quite put my finger on it but the whole episode aside from the part at the end with Sam and the demon seemed a bit odd.
This was a nice return to form compared to last weeks slightly shaky start. All the scenes with Dean and the kid were
Does anyone know Supernatural season 3 will be airing in the UK?? ITV2 Channel most likely.......
Cheers.
Loved the Dean Jnr stuff. Decent episode again and a good ending.

"I'm batman" :D
Another brilliant episode and good to have a comedy one that still adds some more the the main storyline.
Loved all the pratfall stuff this week. Especially all the bits with Sam in the background.
Yeah, the physical comedy this week was great. Typically funny Ben Edlund script, almost as good as his Angel work. Also the new English babe was much better than the other new recurring (blonde) actress.
Another who enjoyed this weeks episode. This show just seems to keep producing really good episodes and stuff you don't expect.

Loved introduction of Kubric the religious nutter in ep 4.
You just know he is going to do something to completely cock things up.
Dean: "I'm Batman."
So many funny bits in episode 4 - how fed up did Sam look when he lost his shoe down the drain...

Just watched Episode 3, haven't laughed so much in ages. Brilliant ep.
Last weeks ep was another lol-fest.
One of the best shows on TV at the moment IMO. The plot writing is usually quite by the numbers, but the character stuff is superb.
Loved EP6, Sam and the randy old woman :D
Line that caught me by surprise was Dean upstairs in the museum, Bella asks if he can handle the locked, alarmed, etc box and... Was expecting more of a standard comeback :D
Bella: "You know when this is over, we should really have angry sex."
Dean: "... Don't objectify me."
Loved episode 7. Gruesome end for Gordon and enjoy the Vampire lore.

I've been watching from the start, and I have to say season 3 has been phenomenal so far, more consistent than before, more gory, more dramatic... I'd like them to pull out a full on creepy one, but generally they've done a great job keeping a vague arc moving, introducing new characters naturally and providing laughs.
Just watched the Christmas one, not one for the kids. Unless you want the mere mention of Santa to make them scream :D
St Nicotine armed with a massive bong while watching porn
A fine Xmas episode with (for me) the nastiest, most disturbing scene they've ever shown ...... I'm looking at you Mr Fingernail-puller! ... EEK!
ITV2 seem to have picked Supernatural up again, being trailed in their winter line-up!
Can't wait for S3 in the UK!!!

Perfectly judged "very special" Christmas episode, just the right amount of sentimentality and just the right amount of horror - the fingernail bit is right up there with the teeth-shedding shapeshifter from season one as a television gore highlight.
And some really classic line delivery from Jensen Ackles: "er.... Silent Night, Hoooooly Night..."

This week's US episode had another of those grisly, never-used-to-see-that-sort-of-thing-on-telly moments in the pre-credits sequence. After the 'fingernails' bit in the Christmas episode and this, it's clear the producers have a perfect grasp on what makes viewers squirm...

Last night episode about the Rabbit foot was excellent! Could of been daft, but they managed to pull off the comedy well and added a bit to the overall story! Did notice an obvious cut to one scene, hopefully it will be intact in the boxset! Not sure why the lockup was never mentioned before, but still, I am really loving this series!
Hope they can make loads more!

Missed the end of last nights ITV2 episode (the fairy tale one) Anyone tell me what happened?
Quite enjoyed last nights episode, although it was probably the weakest so far!
"Could you be any gayer?"
Probably missed something, but here you go!
The girl in the coma was essentially dead, but her Doctor dad was keeping her alive, the girls spirit had the hump and was offing people based on the fairy tales that her dad kept reading to her. Simply put, the girls spirit appeared to the dad, and confirmed that it was her Stepmother that poisened her. Once the father knew this, the girl died. And so the spirit disappeared. Later on, Sam crept out of their room and buried his details at the crossroads. Demon appeared and Sam tried to bargain to let Dean off. Demon was having none of it, saying that a higher power has the contract, and he is desperate to have Dean in hell. Sam then shoots the Demon...episode ends with him looking all moody!

The first ghost echo that appeared and got shot. Looked and sounded like Bruce to me but maybe I'm just imagining things.

some juicy spoilers for season 4
Eric Kirpe reveals: What happens to Dean in hell and how Dean gets out become primary concerns of Season 4. [...] Dean spends a lot more time in hell than anyone's probably thinking. Dean could spend - in human time - six months, maybe more. In hell time, who knows how many years or decades that might be. I won't tell you how he gets out, but he will emerge to a different landscape. A lot has changed since he's been away, and he has to readjust to his loved ones after being gone for so long. [...] It takes hundreds of years to be burned away into a demon. Dean won't be a demon, but there will be an ongoing mystery. When he gets out of hell, he'll have little recollection of what happened to him down there. That's one of the mysteries of the season. [...] Ruby will be back, and we're introducing a new supernatural species. We intend to bring back Steve Williams, the old embittered hermit hunter Rufus. [... Dean's hellish sojourn] will affect [the relationship between the brothers] massively. We'll slowly unfold Dean remembering what happened in hell, and that will drastically affect their relationship. Dean is basically a POW coming home from the worst hellhole - literally - ever. How do you reconnect with your life when you've been through something that horrific? That becomes one of his issues. But don't worry, he's still the same smart ass he always was. [...] We presented [Sam] as immune to [demon Lilith's] powers. We have some twists and turns in store with that. Sam promised Dean right before Dean died that he wasn't going to pursue any of his powers in terms of discovering his potential. Upon Dean's return, Sam tells him "I promised I wouldn't head down that road because you made me promise," but we begin to wonder if indeed that is the truth. For whatever it's worth, the writers have never been this excited about a season. We have some really exciting plot twists.

I got as far as "Eric Kripe reveals" and then stopped myself :help:
Good for you two. I read it, but it's not plot specific, just general intentions for the direction of the season, so not too spoilery really. Supernatural really stepped up a notch last season, can't wait until it begins season 4.

exactly. wouldn't post proper direct ones, the general season themes are ok though ;)

I didn't think I could be more excited for season 4, and then I read the direction it's going to be taking
If done right and anywhere near the standard of this season, we could be in for one of the best seasons of ANY show :notworthy

The hellhounds are coming.....
Easilt my favourite programme at the moment!
S4 Cast news:
Ruby wont be returning! :| .... Apparently it's a monetary issue. They have the same budget for S4, but the Canadian exchange-rate sucks, so she's been let go.

Having read the Supernatural:Origins series (and loving it), I was surprised to see another set is out...Supernatural: Rising Son. Anyone read it? I am trying to source the 6 issues!
I also noticed that the Origins set is being combined into one book and is out soon!
