View Full Version : Sex on Dr Who?
Read the blurb on the new DVD release of "The Tomb of the Cybermen" and by the rating (PG) it listed beside Sex/Nudity - "some, mild".
I don't remember any sex or nudity in this 1960s series, unless some of those cybermen were not properly attired!
I think it might refer to Frazer Hines' knees (Jamie used to wear a kilt y'know).
Hmmm.... Wendy Padbury (Zoe) wasn't in it, so it must be something else. Forgotten what Victoria looked like. 'Spose the Cybercontroller's head looked a wee bit like a todger.
This demands further research....

I think the BBFC's definition of sex/nudity can include revealing clothes, flirtacious dialogue or just about any reference to sexuality at all. If it was a later episode, Nicola Bryant's necklines alone would have earned a "moderate" rating ;)

Shame she looked like a pig really:p
And when are they releasing "Planet of Fire"?:D
Interesting comments
I did wonder if the sex/nudity rating refered to content in the bonus documetary features. I know that Frazer Hines used to play saucey tricks on his female co stars, but I don't know if anything was caught on camera. Is anyone going to own up to owning this? It is considered to be a classic.
Well Deborah Watling does let out a squeal when Fraser goes behind her on the Tombwatch feature. Sort "Get away Hines" but nothing can be seen on -screen, mind you it was dark behind the chairs.

There are one or two pretty decent shots of Victoria's, ahem, pretty full figure, but surely...?
Had another browse at the cover today (how sad am I?) and noticed that next to Violence on the content panel, it said, "None". Now I can't imagine that those cybermen didn't give and receive a good kicking so methinks they have mixed up the sex content with the violence content. I wonder if you can sue if the contents aren't as described.
