long story short-have a m/r lg2330p which cant handle a few dvds i have ie the seige freezes completely 1 hr into film, summer of sam stops and starts after the layer change etc etc
what i would like to try is connecting my sons ps2 up so i can try and watch the discs without interruption:)
can and if so how do i connect the ps2 to the amp so i can get the sound thru the speaker system
i realise i wont probably get dd5.1---pro-logic at best but it would still be better than the tv speaker alone:D
any info would be appreciated
cheers

I've just sold my A5, but I had my PS2 connected to it. The PS2 has an optical out at the rear - use an optical cable (can be had for £10-15 online) to connect to an optical input on the PS2 and Bob's your uncle - digital signals routed to the amp. I'm not sure if PS2 games are encoded with DD5.1, but I'm fairly certain most are pro-logic. The difference will be vast either way.
