View Full Version : Uncut Mad Max:SE?
I'm a bit curious as to whether this is fully uncut. The handcuffs and hacksaw bit at the end would probably be the best indication.

The runtime for the film is 91 minutes... which IMDB lists as the full runtime.
The US version was cut for TV to 88 minutes and the UK version had some odd cuts.
As far as I can tell this is the full uncut version.

The giveaway is the scene where the young couple are chased by the biker gang about halfway through - in the original US version (which is the same as the version we got over here throughout the 1980s), the scene ends when a meatcleaver hits the car. The full Australian version (which is the version shown on British TV and released on video in the early 1990s) has the scene going on for rather longer.
That said, it's not a particularly big deal.
