Hi guys. Just come back from Italy and have been uploading some photos and would like to hear your thoughts, although being on holiday I felt that a lot were more like snaps.

Very nice - some good creative ideas there rather than the usual tourist shots. Some of them seem a little "soft" though in terms of focus and sharpness of image; is that something to do with the compression?

I like what you've done with the sky on the one just called Florence with the campanile, and "looking down on Verona" iss good too - did you take that from the gardens over the river? (can't remember what they're called, but there's a nice walk you can do up to the top of the gardens with a great view over the city).

I'd love a 1280x1024 (or similar sized) copy of the Sunset Over Florence one for a desktop wallpaper...would that be okay or is that too much to ask?

Nice collection Gethin. To echo FishBoy's sentiments - nice to see something different to the usual tourist shots.
