Where can I get a load of disposable film cameras inexpensively developed?

I've got the job of getting a load of disposable cameras developed from a friend's wedding recently.

Just looked on the truprint site but that seems to be all digital now.

There are 8 cameras - can anyone suggest somewhere to take/reliably send them?

Asda or Tesco are pretty cheap if I remember correctly.

Yup, the supermarkets are good and cheap (99p-£2 for negatives only, add a quid for 2-3mpix equiv scans, maybe 4 quid for automated 6x4's).

Perhaps snappy snaps if you want a little more care and attention. (More careful neg cutting, hand colour calibration generally as standard, option of higher res scanning, less dust) Prices will go up though.

If I'm being honest, disposables have pretty naff plastic lenses and iso 800 film. So the 2mpix scans you'll get out of the supermarket are probably about the limit of what's on the negs.

Film camera prices are getting silly now, you could probably have given everybody an XA2 (Zone focus, largely idiot proof) for not too much more, got a pile of better shots, then got your money back flogging them on ebay. More enviromentally friendly too ;)

I've had some great results with disposable cameras. The plastic lens adds a certain 'quality' to the pix, just ask us Holga owners :) Although they do need feeding with plenty of sunlight.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim, Konica WaiWai and my holga (When it works).

I just wouldn't want that sort of quality in my wedding photos (Not that I'm getting married any time soon). I know you get a pro in too, but having an album full of peoples naff photos would simply make me cringe.
Plus, you know its limits (Sun, plenty of it), the likelyhood is the wedding goers will be shooting in the church, where they're less than great and the relatively small flash is going to do little except annoy people
