Wedding Slideshow - My first attempt

Ok, after seeing Radiohead's wedding slideshow I thought i give it a go. Downloaded Proshow and this is my first attempt. It's 45mb thou so please bear with me. What do you guys think ?

I think it's a really solid effort Ray. You managed to show a good picture of the day right from the start, and there are some very nice standalone shots in there as well.

There are a couple of things though - some of the framing is a little off (a few shots have a lot of dead space at the top, and there are occasions where you've lost an edge of the brides dress) but that's quite possibly the lack of 100% viewfinder coverage on the 30D. Something to watch out for. It's maybe a little long for a slideshow (and 45mb will certainly affect the amount of downloads you get), and I'd cut down the number of slides within, and leave more time for each. For instance, there are a number of dress shots in the prep shots, where maybe 2 would do.

Overall though, good job. You should be well pleased with it.

Thanks, I agree I could cut down the dress shot by 2 and even 1 at the start in the Salon. As for the cropping, I agree, especially the 1 pic I am a little annoyed about is the colour pic about half way through at the back of the bride showing it on the floor, its missing the left side.

Size wise, 640x480 seems to be the nice res, yours was in QT, i tried that and it was over 1G ! Tried making a Flash file, that's around 45mb as well. The only way is to reduce the resolution I think.

Nice stuff, I've been wanting to upload a slideshow I made using the same software but wasn't sure where to host it. I'll try the place you used though and send a linky when I'm done :)
