Do i need special equipment to play a Jap/US cube?

If you want a modded one (i.e both Japan and US compatible) id get it from Lik Sang. Same goes for if you just want a Jap one.

If you just want a US one, possibly NCSX (although thats not the cheapest)

I think that TAU is the cheapest, and maybe DVDBoxoffice.

To play a Jap/US Cube you need a Stepdown Convertor and an NTSC 3.58 compatible television.

You can only get games for these that are from either the US, Japan or both.Check out the Supplier Thread for links to the mentioned suppliers.

checkout www.goblingames.co.uk (how many times have I sung their praises today??!!)

they are excellent. It wil be hassle free although a little on the expensive side.

as it's a US modified japanese console it'll obviously play games from those countries. there aren't any consoles out that play UK/Aus games at the moment as the games haven't been released and therefore there's no point in attempting to modify the consoles just yet.
