I want to get a camera for my daughter's 11th birthday £100 for case, card and camera - any suggestions would be very welcome, she only needs it for point and shoot snaps.

Thank you!

Loads here at that price and for what she wants they are all much the same -
The canon powershot A460 ticks all the boxes 5 Mp with 4 x optical zoom AA batteries - and it looks good which is important to a 11 yr old.

You don't need to buy from there but it gives you an idea

This helpful thank you JOV - any Fuji cameras that stand out or is Canon the main player here?

I'd also recommend the Canon - I got my son an A430 last year and he loves it. I think the 460 is the upgraded model - certainly looks very very similar to it.

Very cute - the other week he was showing us the cop movies he's been making with his friends on it! My 5 year old co-stars in the film :D
