Hendrik?
I can find no definitive information.
As it's a studio canal release they're unlikely to have subtitles... Best is to wait until the release in February and get official confirmation as these things can be announced but not arrive on the end product...

I can't find any indication one way or the other - and the label's no help as some Studio Canal discs have English subtitles (<I>La Bete Humaine</I>) and some don't!
I'll probably buy it anyway, as anything I can do to encourage people to release more Robert Bresson films on DVD has got to be worth it!

Cinestore says 'sous-titre : sans'.
Which is, unfortunately, par for the course with the Studio Canal Serie Classique. Bete Humaine & Casque d'or are, I think the only one with subtitles, whilst some other great movies - like Pepe le Moko, Grande Illusion, Quai des Brumes, Le Jour se Leve, L'Air de Paris don't. And if they're anything like the ones I've seen, then they've got great transfers of beautifully restored prints.
Dommage!
"...great transfers of beautifully restored prints."
...yup! one and all! and, personally, I love the slim digipacks (others may be less enamored)...
...also recommended in this same series: Resnais' Stavisky and de Broca's Cartouche - both starring Belmondo - the latter movie with English subs and - ugh! - an English dub...
...as to why the erratic addition/omission of English subs (and dubs)... that certainly has to do with rights issues, as MB pointed out...
