I've had one since October. Well, two actually as the first one had some purity problems with the tube. They both have suffered from horizontal scrolling bars across the display - very distracting on low contrast images (a grey area will alternate between red/green tints). This is apparently caused by incorrect earthing or shielding on the scart inputs.
The current set also suffers from an intermittant fault where the sides of the screen will be tinted pink and flicker. Can be fixed by giving the set a tap. Tapping (only lightly) the side of the set will also cause interruption to the picture.
I'm off work for a week the week after next, I'm calling an engineer in then. I bought the set from Comet and so I'm expecting the usual 'you gets what you pays for' line - for £2k+ this set should be gold plated given the crap I've had with it (and I know I'm not alone)...

Reviews in magazines seem to love it,but comments on various forums suggest it is not such an awesome tv.Have a look around on Usenet( www.deja.com) ,and www.avforums.com

I've had mine for nearly a year now and am very happy with it. I've had no problems what so ever.
I bought it from Debenhams for £1899.00 which came with a stand and a free five year guarantee. It was also delivered free aswell.
