I saw these guys on TV from the Reading Festival yesterday, was very impressed so went out and bought their album/EP (not sure which it is) today, The Thief & The Heartbreaker.

I'm even more impressed now. They sound very Neil Young/Ryan Adams influenced, but with a bit more of a rock slant. Certainly distinctive from the usual British indie rock bands doing the rounds. The singer has a gorgeous voice and a great ear for lush melodies.

Anybody else listening to them?

I completely forgot they were on at Reading and missed their set. Very annoyed. I'm hoping it will be on the highlights on BBC3 later, but I doubt it seeing as they aren't really well known.

Their new 4-track EP was released today for digital download. It's called Leave Us Or Forgive Us. And it's great :)
