your local stationers will do you a pen....thankfully within your budget....they have them starting from about 19p....now that's a bargain

anyway, im going to try smiths tomorrow so thank you for that suggestion.
any online specialists would also be an option, im simply looking for a nice quality fountain pen and dont know much about the subject.

bodmin, tried to do some research, it appears parker, waterman and montblanc are the brands to go for, i guess for the last one i could up the budget.
im looking for a pen mysedlf for a present for my dad . been looking for a mont blanc and found one at jessops for £69 the model is the noblesse and details can be found on mont blancs website http://www.montblanc.com/
