BMW retain their drivers for '08.
Hamilton vs Alonso feud continues... I hope. Makes it a little spicey at the front.
Honda need to step up after finishing last in Hungary.

Button has had an engine change. Drops to last.
All being well, Kimi passes Lewis off the start line and in trying to defend against the Finn, Hamilton slips back another place behind Fernando. I'd suspect it could be all change again by the end of the lap though! :D
Just noticed that the 'race build-up' is an hour and fifteen minutes long, now if only in that time we had some analysts of note, worth listening to.
Team: Jensen is two seconds quicker.
Barichello: Don't make me laugh.

Hammy chasing and on a big fuel load. Damage limitation, as Brundle says. Alonso compromised. :dork:
OMG!!!!! Something interesting has happened!!!!!11111

still only lose 2 points from it though (plus Alonso will gain 1)
100m World championship final on BBC2 now
Pah! Turned over and missed it. :D
Ban Brundle from interviewing Lewis on the grid... I BLAME HIM!
Annoyingly little overtaking from what should be a good overtaking track. If Raikkonen really was so fast he should have been past Massa early in the race, or at least had a few goes at an overtake. Solid results from Heidfeld, Kovalienen and Rosberg.
With Alonso's comments he seems to be doing his best to alienate himself from the team. I noticed Hamilton made a point of talking of the contribution of the rest of the team in the pre-race interview. Sometimes it almost seems like Alonso wants to have an excuse to leave and/or justify his performance if he doesn't win the championship. Rare to hear so much public moaning from a front running driver.

....but completely the norm from him.
/off topic-ish
Hunts, i know Fisi is a bit of an embarassment atm ( :( ) but you can continue to post. :p Besides Kovi is doing well atm.

Supposedly according to anecdotal evidence from other forum posters elsewhere (and apparently commented upon on Spanish TV), Fernando got a fair bit of booing through out the weekend.
Any suggestions for what should be on my banner at Monza in a fortnight?

"This is dull, I could be home playing Warhawk" ? ;)
Was this weekend really as dull as the lack of posts here suggest?

Either way they now appear to be solidly the 4th best team, which is a definite improvement over the "somewhere in the chasing pack" mediocrity of earlier this season.
Sadly after starting the season by picking up roughly as many points as the car seemed to be capable of Fisi seems to have gone back to sleep :brickwall Just at the time of year when the decision will be made on whether he keeps the drive for next year or whether Piquet/someone else takes over.

We all warned Hunts that that yucky new livery was a mistake.

Really could have done with Hamilton not finishing, the points gap is still too much to overturn I feel! He's having a fair bit of luck isn't he...first he beeches his car in the gravel apparently ending his race, but gets hoisted back on :oh-hum: and then shreds his tyre and still manages to finish in the points!!!
He's a very good driver and I certainly don't wish any harm to the young fella but I'd love to see him total his car next race ;)
...actually, it would be great for Alonso to force him off the track and then cut to see big Ron's face
