I was reminded last night of the Melody Maker review of Radiohead's Kid A, still one of my favourite hatchet jobs of all time

Just wondering if anyone else had any favourites...

To be fair, Kid A is a bit of a crap album
(my opinion :p )

But that review is ridiculous, yes!

I seem to remember a review of One Hot Minute by the Red Hot Chili Peppers in, funnily enough, the Melody Maker which started with the line:

"I ******* hate the Red Hot Chili Peppers"

I remember thinking to myself "this is going to be an impartial review then!", surprisingly he didn't rate it too highly.

Ohhh, I almost forgot - lest we forget our very own Mr Barlow with his review of The Last Broadcast by The Doves:

"The Best Album Since Nevermind"

'nuff said!

In all seriousness The Music's debut ****** all over the debut's by the hyped-up Arctic Monkies and all the other 'great new hopes'

No one will ever be able to be the two word review of Spinal Tap's Shark sandwich.

Sadly the first word would be edited out if I posted it.

I never forgave him for that.

Worked for hours on it, I did.
