£199 for the macmini is probably worth a punt, would be useful as a server or something i would imagine.

Brislington (Bristol) have a 13" Macbook Core 2 Duo @ £399.

Ex display with missing key, no charger box or anything.

Also a bit scratched and the like.

Basically not a good deal. I couldn't get the other bristol store to even answer the phone. Tried around 5times and let it ring around 5-10mins each. Great customer service there!

yep. had the same **** service from the cribbs branch. the phone would ring and ring. Once a woman answered, said something then hung up. Phoned again and it rung and rung and then cut off. Then a guy answered next time i called after ages and put me through to the multimedia department who didnt pick their phone up at all for 10 minutes..... Awesome store:D

Thats nothing mate, you should try Brislington. We got kicked out for having the audacity to walk around their store with an empty plastic bag in the basket thing in the bottom of our push chair.
We bought our daughters electric bike at Maplins across the road instead who where very helpful.

At Christmas Toyrus Cribbs said I was not allowed to walk around the store with my carrier bags (I had just been XMas shopping in the Mall so had 4-5 bags).

They said I can leave them at the reception desk (the desk which is immediately infront of you as you go through the door) but they will not accept responsibility for them. Obviously, I just left as anybody could just walk off with my new presents and apparently Toysrus wouldn't be to blame.

I remember going to Toys R Us as a kid and thinking it was the most wonderful place in the world. "Millions of toys all under one roof, it's called Toys 'R' Us!!!" and all that gumpf. Now I think it is one of the worst stores I have EVER been in. Unbelivable. It felt like some weird throw back to the 80's with the bizarre signage and displays. Customer service was non existent, staff were thin on the ground and that bag thing is crazy...

Getting lots of stuff stolen? Your options are:

1. Improve CCTV
2. Hire more security guards
3. Improve product tagging

Telling people that they can't take carrier bags in is just mental. Supermarkets have lots of aisles and small items that could be pocketed, but they don't ban carrier bags. Crazy talk!!

Shame not more people couldn't find bargainous kit.

Wow. Maybe they could learn from India. Many shops there (in malls) have a security guard on the door who will take your bags from you and give you a token. He then literally stands guard over the storage rack until you return and hand over your token.

Woman in Derby started reading a programme title to me when I asked for any macbooks or iMacs. I asked again, for any apple computers, she said "Ohhh. No."
Also, love the "on hold" music of nursery rhymes tapped onto a keyboard.

We're late to the party on this one, apparently the clearout started a few weeks ago and there's very little left now.
