View Full Version : Samsung x830 phone 500min xnet 12mth contract 9 mths cashback and a free Wii !
Nicked from **** site, just bagged one
At the new company Mobiles2YourDoor you can get a Samsung X830 on a contract deal with a FREE NINTENDO WII. The contract term costs just £120, equating to £10 a month. This is a 12 month contract deal. Originally you will pay £40 a month and the phone is on Vodafone, with 500 anytime minutes and 500 texts each month. This new company is a part of Phones4u which are a very trustworthy retailer, also this company has the same t&c's.
You get £360 cashback
The Samsung X830 is an incredibly compact mobile phone. Weighing just 72g it manages to pack in a large 1 GB memory, a state-of-the-art music player and a 1.3 megapixel camera with MPEG4 video recording. The music player supports multiple audio formats including MP3, AAC, and WMA. The X830 also has stereo Bluetooth, which means you can remotely control your music player from a compatible stereo Bluetooth headset. With 1GB of memory there's enough storage to carry around 300 music tracks in your pocket. At first glance, the X830 looks like an MP3 player but rotate it open and the narrow keypad is revealed. The keys have an unusual arrangement and this could be a challenge for avid texters, but we think the design and the spec of this phone is just great.

I would be very careful with the cashback t&c's if they're part of Phones4U.I got screwed on my cashback.

How come?
If it is the same procedure as the current p4u cashback then they send you a cashback form which has a calim date on it. You simply send the latest bill you have at the claim date (60days to claim) and they send you a cheque and another cashback form.
they've got some other good offers too - 12 months free

They are owned by Phones 4U so not strictly a new company. Just a new trading brand/name.

I'm liking the sound of this.
the LG Prada with 12 months free on a 12 month contract is supposed to be a bit of a belting deal apparently :)

I went for this last night from ****. Even though you have to jump through the cashback hoops, it seems like a good way to get a cheap (or even free)Wii. If you don't want the phone, they make a decent price on eBay. You have to send your 6,8,10 and 12 month bills off for cash back and you get a £90 cheque back at those intervals. If you can trust yourself to remember to sort out the cashback then this appears to be a good deal.

I have had loads of these types of deals and my tip is to start a folder and put every bill in it as they are received.
I create a grid on the front of the folder reminding me when to send the bill for cashback.
Touch wood, never missed out yet.

the only problem I can see with these guys is that they do not support porting when moving to a Vodafone or O2 contract.

Bit of problem considering the bargain is on Vodaphone :(

How do you create the grid on the front of your folders? I take it you are talking about folders stored on your PC.
Thanks

I use Google Calendar to keep myself organised with cashbacks.
I use the SMS alerts feature to remind me to send in invoices/chase up claims/etc
the REAL world....whats that? Me not compute! I'm shutting down until further notice:)
Somebody talk me out of this! Will the Wii come with any games?
argh, the links gone!
Anyone find it, hope I haven't missed the boat.
It looks like this has finished..

Got my phone via Special Delivery this morning. Looks like the phone might be unlocked too - intact Samsung seals on the box, no Vodaphone branding and sim card packaged separately.
Although this particular offer has finished there are still some OK offers on their site for free Wii/XBox360 some with extra cashback.
so when do you get your wii then?

Could you not take the contract out and port your number later?
quite liking the look of the Nokia 6300 with 9months half price line rental plus free wii or the Sony Erricson W580i and 6months half price...
would probably sell the phone, anyone know which is worth most?
very tempted indeed, close to going for it.
am i missing something tho or are these genuinly good deals? do they add loads of extras on like itemised billing and stuff which are a arse to get out of?

My Wii from this offer arrived this morning. It turned out to have Wii Sports bundled with it too which hadn't been mentioned previously. And so it goes into the cupboard for Christmas.
My Wii also arrived today - good stuff.
Wii Sports comes as a pack in with all Wiis.
