I purchased my 360 in June and (as suggested by friends on this forum) mailed off the Extended Warrenty slip for £59.49.

I notice on my June CCard statement theyve taken the cash but Ive not received any paperwork from them and for the life of me I cant find the name/contact details of the company.

It sounds a great marketing trick. Get peopl to sign up then dont send them anything so they forget when something does goes wrong!

Thanks

Jez

Only for the 3 red rings problem. Anything else is covered by the 12 month guarantee.

I bought my warranty from Game (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?p(12813)a(60823)g(80187)) and it cost £20 for 2 years, but you can get a 3 year one for £30-£35 IIRC.

Not sure where you have bought the warranty from seeing as you can get them direct from MS though.

I'm confused. The warranty leaflet was in the box, so may have come from microsoft. It was £59.49 and maybe was from Microsoft.

My ccard statement says "XBOX ENTENDED WARRANTY 18 005 557 41 IRL"

Any ideas?

Cheers

Jez

£59.49 is the microsoft price - so it prolly is them. I very much doubt another company has managed to slip an extended warranty form in the box anyway.

Call up and check.

It took about 3 months for them to send me my paperwork.

If your worried, give them a ring. The extended warranty is with microsoft...

I got my 360 a month after launch and took MS' extended warranty and it was 3-4 months at least before I got the paperwork for it.
