I have got this 32" widescreen tv put by for me, is it any good?

Cost - £300 !!

Make: Ferguson w8123u

Any thoughts before I take the plunge?

If it's new and warrantied, then for £300, it looks like a bargain.
Ferguson is another brand name for Thomson, and while they may not quite be up there with the Sonys, Tosh's and Panny's etc, they are better than the cheapo noname makes. (if nothing else, you'll be more likely to be able to get parts in the future)

If the picture is good - a 32" WS set for £300 - what are you waiting for?

As MikeK says, if this has a warranty and a reasonable picture, then it's a definate bargain :)

It comes with a 12 month maufacturers warranty and like you say for £300!!

It was from Comet as a managers special because it was a return. I picked it up last night and it is superb for the money. Unfortunately it was the only one in there.
