When I first got my DVD player I bought Batman R2 watched it and thought something looked a little odd. I looked on the back of the box and found it was in 4:3. Anyone got the R4 version and can confirm that it is in widescreen? And what are the other, if any features?

I have it and can confirm that it is indeed Widescreen.

I got mine from EzyDVD. (After emailing them and asking if it was actaully the case, to which they replied it was P&S, but after checking a few comparisons and they said it was actually WS, so I took a risk and it turned up WS)

'Scuse the babble, but thought you might appreciate the little story.......

I think Burton is doing special editions of Batman 1 & 2 this year so don't buy anything just yet.

My copy of Batman R2 (UK) is anamorphic 1.85.

The Batman Box set R1 includes all four movies. All of them are presented in Widescreen.

No, three movies; Batman & Robin was a travesty.

I have the R2 and it looks fine 1.85:1 projected. AFAIK there's a special edition on the way no? We need another fine commentary from Burton! ;)

I have Batman R2 and on the back it says "Regular - Suitable for all TV's" but it looks widescreen to me when I watch it.
