Was a bit tipsy and tired but I am sure I saw / heard something through the haze.
Was along the lines that the longer you had been with them the cheaper it was, but I can not see details on their website.

go to HD Offer (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://skytv.at/thedvdforums?DURL=www.sky.com/thankyou) and fill in the details and it will tell you how much you will have to pay for a HD box
Moved to the HD forum... :)
It is actually on the site as you can see from the link above:
Up to 3 years: £279
Between 3 to 6 years: £249
Over 6 years: £199
Yes, jsut got offered the £200 and £30 (half price) installation. Still too much IMO, I'll hold out for a bit longer.

We were delivering shedloads of these letters today - obviously HD is not going down well - £10 extra a month for less channels? Wonder why.
I too will be waiting till they waive that extra tenner, as the prices for Sky are horrendous as it is.

Add to that the fact that Sky often show upscaled normal definition stuff on the movie channels, you've got to ask yourself is it really worth the price?
