colour fading of tv??

I just bought a 36 inch graded tv a fw days ago. I am happy wiht everything else just a small problem of colour. It fades and flickers sometimes:mad: What do you guys recommend , take my money back or get a refund??:confused: It does it on all sources.

I doubt insulting everyone by calling them 'common' is going to help you get answers... ;)

Obviously it is in your interest that you get the money back if you can, as it is doubtful there would be one you could swap for if this is a graded tv (i.e. second hand/repaired/returned). However your guarantee options are probably more limited as this could be seen as a "sold as seen" purchase, and you may only be able to get an exchange/vouchers, this is of course down to the individual store - you should at least get them to fix it. I know I wouldn't want to watch a TV that flickered all the time, that would drive me crazy! It'd be like sitting in a chair that collapsed every five minutes.

Call the store, explain the problem and find out what your options are - best to do it sooner than later.

There may be problems/fixes with your set, what is it?

Thanks for your reply, the set in question is hitachi C36wf535N. I have contacted the supplier and he says he will pick it up but will charge me for doing so:mad:
