If you need to know which region is the best for a particular DVD, feel free to discuss it here. However if you actually require a comparison, please post it in The Rewind Forums at www.therewindforums.co.uk. This will not only save our time but also reduce The DVD Forums' bandwidth.
Thanks for your assistance.
Great new forum this one is!
Only noticed it today, when I saw the Point Break thread was moved from the DVD & Movie forum.
I'm sure it'll be of great use.
And speaking of - great work you guys are doing in Rewind Craig  helped me with quite a few region decisions.

Here's what I have used in the past to check DVD comparisons in the past.
DVDCOMPARE (http://www.bytesandbobs.com/dvdcompare/)
Hope it helps some of your decisions :)

Yeah but it is full of errors and is misleading! You have been warned! Rewind check and double check all of their comparisons so they are extremely accurate.

Thats prolly why they hardly update it anymore. I never really used that site to make many decisions, just used them as a reference. Please remove the above post if you think it's not worth it, I don't mind :)
Just me, perhaps, but dvdbasement.net can't be found...

That'll be because we've moved to http://www.therewindforums.co.uk. ;)
Just realised that Craig hasn't changed that in his first post - naughty boy! :D
