Who do you think it will be
Its a question asked as doing my Fantasy Football Team
Thinking
Drogba
Rooney
Van Persie
Eduardo
Berbatov
I wouldn't rule out someone like Benni McCarthy breaking into the top of the pile.
McCarthy is a good shout, rooney not.
a team like Man United will spread goals all through their attacking players, Blackburn will largely funnel it through McCarthy

I think Drogba, Berbatov and Van Persie will all be up there.
Will be interesting to see how Shevchenko does in his second season. Let's remember Drogba didn't settle in at first either. Sheva is a class player, if he can settle well and bring about some of his class...
Darren Bent has been scoring the pre season, though his value on fantasy football is quite high. Forsell has scored a few in pre season and is looking sharp (but then I'm a brum fan).

Tevez
Drogba
Torres
Berbatov
Van Persie
In that order, dont think Rooney or Eduardo will be anywhere near to be honest
I'll be a bit more specific. Also, I assume this is for League games only?
1. Ronaldo - 23 goals
2. Drogba 21 goals
3. Darren Bent - 16 goals
4. Michael Owen - 15 goals
5. Fernando Torres - 15 goals
6. Tevez - 14 goals
Marlon Harewood - 5 goals
John Carew - 10 goals
Ashley Young - 4 goals
I would put
Drogba
Tevez
Bent
McCarthy
Chopra for Sunderland is my surprise inclusion.
I feel Ronaldo will be marked more in games this year. Like to go for Shevchenko but unsure if he will get as many games if we head back to a 4-3-3 formation.

What about Anelka ? Seemed to be a fairly good striker last season
Bolton are going to struggle this season

Well Rooney finished 4th in the scorers chart last season so I'm not sure how you work that one out?
That in a season where he was widely criticised too.
Here's the list for last season (Prem goals only) ....
Didier Drogba..............19
Benni McCarthy...........17
Cristiano Ronaldo........17
Wayne Rooney...........14
Darren Bent................12
Rooney was playing as the lone 'real' striker for much of last season thanks to Mr Glass.
this season he will have Tevez alongside him.

So that will make him score less goals?
Sorry, but I just don't see the logic in that. Rooney is a better player when he has somebody alongside him.

If given a chance I can see Pizarro and Santa Cruz surprising a few people.
Tevez is the type who could play upfront or just behind the front striker/s just as well.
In no particular order, league games only:
Ronaldo
da Silva
Drogba
RVP
McCarthy
Drogba, McCarthy, and Berbatov are all good choices.
I also think Leroy Lita and Andy Johnson will be there, with possibly Dean Ashton who I think is a good choice as he'll get lots of assists.
I went for Berbatov and Ashton in my team.

Are there two Santa Cruz's in the Premiership next year?
If it's Roque what are you basing your optimism on?
His 0 goals for Bayern in 26 appearances last year?
Or his 4 goals the year before?
Or his 0 goals the year before that?
Or the fact that (according to his Wikipedia page) he hasn't scored more than five goals in a single season in his whole career?
Fair play to the lad if he does come good, but I will be more than 'surprised' if he does ;)

TBH I didn't know what his record was, but whenever I've seen him play he looked good.

He is a good player IMO, but he's not much of a goalscorer...

To be fair, a lot of those appearances are as substitute. He looks like he scores a goal every 4 games or so when he starts, which is not a terrible record considering the level he's been playing at.
He's definitely not an out and out goalscorer though.

The other side of that though is he's been substitute because, by and large, he's been a disappointment at Bayern...
I'm not knocking the guy, just surprised to see him mentioned as a potential top 5 Premier League goalscorer considering the talent that's around this year.

4. Michael Owen - 15 goals
He'll be lucky to make 15 appearances at this rate..
Personally I'd say
Drogba
Van Persie
Berbatov
Ronaldo
Rooney
Id go for Drogba, Rooney or Bent (provided he gets regular place upfront at spurs)
1 - Drogba
2 - Ronaldo
3 - B. McCarthy
4 - Berbatov
5 - Rooney
Van Persie
Drogba
Tevez
Berbatov
Rooney
Having a fiver on Tevez, at 20/1 looks a good value bet
