Anyone else finding them painfully slow lately?

My last three discs have been pushing the 3 to 4 week mark, when they always used to arrive in around a week.

Trouble is I'm tempted by the Criterion bargins (here (http://thedvdforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=48026)) but really don't want to wait that long for them.

Is it just me?

As far as I can work out, if the item is not in stock the site doesn't tell you and it takes ages to turn up.

I stopped using them for this reason, which is a shame because they are pretty cheap.

Seems to be the case, i have had orders that are in stock within a week and others have taken an age!

My experience with them is that it's 2 weeks if its a popular title (although 3 weeks over xmas), rising to over a month if they need to order it in.:(

I ordered 2 dvds on Christmas eve and both arrived within 4 weeks, I have to agree about them being slow but because they are so much cheaper than must other suppliers I don't mind to much.
I would use A&B or Play if I wanted them quicker.
I would like to add that I also ordered 2 dvds from ********* at the same time and I'm still waiting for one of those.

I ordered 'Good Will Hunting' from them on 26/12 and received the invoice/despatch note yesterday.I can probably expect delivery in about 10-14 days.

It irritates me that they don't show stock levels on their site but the free shipping offer counters that.

I've ordered over 200 DVD's from them and never had one go missing or a wrong DVD etc so I stick buy them.Basically, I expect to wait weeks now for catalogue stuff and it's a nice surprise if it's sooner.

If I want something in a hurry I'll use Play or A N. Other.

got a note with my Killer Klowns From Outer Space this morning asking me to e-mail them, telling them what date the package arrived because they want to check delivery times.

I've been waiting on TFATF for over 2 weeks now

Sent them a couple of e-mails asking about it - order showed up on the account history as being sent on 4th Jan!!!!

They said they can't really do much because it is still within the average delivery time for international orders?!?!?!?

Hmmm....I think I will be using another supplier from now on, my friend has been having similar probs with them too!!

I ordered Superman II in the sale on the 2nd.... shipped on the 3rd... and through my door on the 19th! Package was marked as being sent from France though, I didn't have a clue what it was until I opened it, no DVDBO stuff on the outside at all.
