just wanted to check out what kind of wait others have experienced with Amazon.fr before i email them (again :()

i recently placed my second order for Total Recall UE as the first (in October when it first came out) went missing in the post - on that occasion i emailed them after waiting 2 weeks but it took another couple of emails/weeks before they decided they would send a replacement (by which time it was out of stock and they then refunded the order as they couldn't tell me when they would get more)

this order is also taking a - in my opinion/experience - suspiscously long time to arrive (13 days so far.. according to the order details the ETA should've been the 10th/11th) but i'm reluctant to email them again yet as i feel they may think i'm having them on after the previous trouble i had (which is the only other order i have ever placed with .fr)

I've used .fr a few times & stuff has turned up in no more than 5 days.

I ordered La Haine and it took about 6-7 days to arrive by Parcel Force. Was my first order aswell so was a bit paranoid about it. It'd probably be best to email them again just in case. If you've received it you would have signed for it.

right - I didn't know that they were signed for (I know .co.uk do but it never clicked that .fr might do the same as it's an overseas order) and I thought it might have sounded off if they got an email saying that another parcel to me had seemed to have gone missing without trace

thanks guys

[EDIT] just wanted to check before i email.. it was Standard delivery (it says despatched via La Poste Colissimo Europe on my order details) you used on on your order, Gozer?

I used the standard 3-4 day delivery. Never had to sign for anything ever with Amazon.co.uk so was suprised I had to sign for this. Also they used Parcel Force as opposed to Royal Mail which .co.uk never do.
