Lost Season 3 R2 Release Date

Looks like we are getting season 3 earlier than the R1 release!

According to Amazon it's out on the 22nd of October:

This set is MAGNIFICENT! :D
The same gorgeous menu design as previous seasons (obviously using season 3 locations and images) and loads of easter eggs (including the complete video that Karl was subjected to in Room 23)! Very ******* cool! :thumbs:
My set from Play.com (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://playcom.at/thedvdforums) (thanks again Keeks! :D ) has an extra 8th disc with 3 more "Lost on Location" bits and 2 more deleted scenes.

Can't see an 8th disc over at play but I've seen the set in shops recently and it amazes me they're charging more for the DVD than the Blu-ray version costs from the US. Of course that won't be out until late december but still a great price and in HD of course.

I bought the first set but didn't bother with the second as I thought they'd bring it out on BD for sure. Hopefully they'll bring both series out and I can flog the first.

Can't see an 8th disc over at play I guess it may have been a very limited exclusive extra only then (maybe just pre-orders or something)? :shrug:

As for Blu-ray, I've no doubt it'll be even more stunning but until there's just one HD format I'm not going near either. I can't afford 2 more formats (especially where there are things like Lost only on Blu-ray and Heroes only on HD-DVD).

I know what you mean, thankfully there's not much Universal make that I'd want anyway. The only other show I'd be interested in is Prison Break (blu-ray), Party of five (Blu-ray but unannounced) and Veronica Mars (both but unannounced)
