I'm looking to buy a surround sound system for my DVD player. Haven't got a clue which one to get. Can anyone recommend one. Not too pricey ? I've heard that the Videologic Digitheatre DTS is a good Kit. Anyone comments ?

Tiny computers are selling it for £250 at the moment....if they have any left in stock
Not heard it myself, but I know someone that has it who thinks it's very good.

Thanks,
The DTS version has sold out but they are still selling the Dolby Digital 5.1 system for £149. Is this a good system ? Or should I keep an eye out for the DTS ?

I've got the DTS version, and it's definitely worth it for the reduced price (although i realise they've run out now).
From what I've heard, I believe the DD version is also well worth it. It really depends on how much you can tell the difference between good sound and "GOOD" sound.

You could get a Kenwood 5050 receiver from richersounds, and the Eltax Stargate speaker set (£110) from QED which should offer pretty good performance. Both are regarded as decent budget components. HTH.
