Ok due to my evergrowing collection of devices that require my TV I need to sort out the best place to connect them all!

TV Has:

1 Scart RGB
1 Scart Non-RGB
1 S-Video - Colours bleed a lot (could this be the cable quality???)
1 Yellow Phono
1 RF

Sony DVD Player - Connected to AV1 S-Video (S-Video Bleeds Colour badly!)
NTL Digital STB - Connected to AV2
Dreamcast - connected to RF which looks really crappy

I basically want to connect them all to the right places to get the best out of them! Most important to me is DVD then Dreamcast then NTL!

get a scart box and use this for the DC and DVD for RGB into the TV (or if your dvd has 2 scarts you might be able to loop the DC thru it). Since NTL is last on your list, maybe composite in the other scart.

Or, DVD into RGB Scart, NTL into composite scart, and DC into the yellow phono.

EDIT: what TV do you have cos AV1 is usually RGB and AV2 S-vid. Do you have the dvd output set to S-vid?

I have a 29" LG Non Widescreen TV - there is a really bad reddy HUE when using S-Video to S-Video cable from the DVD s-video to the TV-S-video. I have set the Euro AV Output on the DVD to S-Video but it still gives the reddy hue?? I would prefer to run the DVD of the S-Video cos it is a sharper picture!

kcxdev mostly said it.

Your telly is most likely RGB on AV1. S-video+composite elsewhere.

DVD scart goes to the Telly AV1 to give RGB and best quality picture. (You may need to use the menus in the DVD and telly to tell em to use the RGB signal). I find s-video is poor from my Sony DVD, I would try RGB.

NTL TV scart goes to Telly AV2. (If your NTL box is less than ~6 mths old it outputs RGB and composite - so it will be the composite you will use - its fine like that - I use that. If its older they output s-video and composite - you can tell by looking on the NTL setup menu - where you have to tell it what to output).

If you really want to take s-video from DVD to Telly then it will be an s-video cable, not scart. In that case put the NTL into the telly AV1.

I dunno anything about Dreamcast -sorry.
Have fun.

I've got one of those TV's and very good they are too (considering the price.)

I've got DVD going to AV1 using RGB as this is by FAR the best looking picture on the TV. I tried using an s-video (s-video to s-video not scart to s-video) and it didn't look bad but the RGB is quite a bit better.

My sky box goes to AV2 just using composite, which looks alright and dreamcast, playstation both go to the phono inputs on AV3 (using one stackable phono, which is fine as both are never on at once.)
