The price calculator must be wrong, as on Saturday they didn't offer that much, however Game did and one trade-in price match later I was happy.

I was offered RR5 PS3 (£25) and NBA 2K7 (£10) in Gamestation and in Game £25 for RR5 and £28 for NBA.

However, if you can take the list in to the store, then maybe they honour it?

www.cex.co.uk is another online site to compare prices.

Yep, but maybe the backend systems and stuff(tm) haven't been intergrated yet between the two operations?

That list is a bit rubbish really, not many titles listed!

The old lists used to have more games on there. This "mini" guide is **** poor.

I can't get the OPs original link to work anymore. Has it died along with the stores?

I'm specifically wondering what there trade in price for DiRT & Flatout on the 360 might be.

This link works, but you just get a message

"We're struggling to keep up with demand on our new calculator so we're making a few changes. We'll get the site live again
as soon as possible.

Sorry, carry on gaming instead!"

Don't know how they compare to gamestation prices but cex say £28 for TC and £19 for MS, that's for cash not trade

internetuser

Get the prices of CEX online (print them out) and take them to GS and they will price match + £1

I got an extra £20 yesterday doing this.

Quint

Did not realise they matched tradeing and selling prices. ANyone else done this?

Would be great if they do cos judging by what they payed me for Forza it is more likely to be about £18 cash for TS

Why don't you sell them on the classifieds or on eBay (http://www.thedvdforums.com/jump2.php?url=http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-582776-5826355)?

Any trade in price you are likely to get is going to be a lot lower then what people are prepared to pay for it.

Is this right across all gamestation stores?

Trade-in is an instant fix.

I'm fairly active with trades and selling on here, but I still trade stuff too!

Although I made the mistake of trading R6: Vegas for Monster Madness :gag:

Doh! What was I thinking?

I see your in the town.

They recon (cramlington, metro and newcastle) they price match anybody but grainger games...... when I called them

But the newcastle one, when he asked how much CEX had quoted for some things, £28 for Dirt, and 38 for Forza ltd, and silly prices for old gamecube games, he was not sure they would do it, as they would be taking a loss on them.

It was the metro center one I got to do the price match, the sales assistant had to ask the manager due to the price difference. (£25quid ish) and she ok;ed it.

I just printed out the prices from CEXs website in the sell to basket and that was fine.

Ah, cool. I will try it as I am going to the metro-centre tonight. You are right about some silly prices that cex seem to give....I've got a cooking mama for the DS that is £20 new in store but cex are also giving you £20 trade in...I'll try my luck.
Cheers for the heads up.

TBH I never thought that Grainger Games gave that good trade in prices anyway!

internetuser

I think they meant prices in general for games via grainger, when you compare them to gamestation they are alot cheaper from what Ican tell. Trade in prices with grainger are terrible tho.

Grainger can chuckout some silly cheap 2nd hand stuff at times on some titles.
