I'm thinking along these lines as an upgrade from my Digitheatre DTS at some point later this year. Probably add a couple of NXT flat speakers for rear channel EX/ES duty as well (experiment in terror! :D ).
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone in here has this setup and what they think of it.
The blunt answer is no, but I do have the 2802 (6.1) with the Kefs.
I'm still fiddling with the settings and placement of speakers etc. but it does sound mighty fine. Looks as though I might have a spare 'egg' as I can't run 2 speakers through the rear centre channel.
I have a Yamaha DX620 with the Kef's.
I demo'd them with the 3802. They were absolutley superb (they are merely brilliant in my system!).
TBH I would use two more for 7.1 if I were you to maintain imaging.

I'm thinking of NXT flat panels for the rear as the wall they'll be on is right against the sofa. I'd be banging my head on the Kefs. :)
Now just gotta start an NXT thread to get genned up on them.

Yep.....it lovely..both for music and movies.
If you really want to go 7.1 I would agree with the suggestion of buying another pair of eggs. One of the reasons that it is a nice setup is as they are all tonally the same. You can always wall mount them.
Barney - No I haven't got any stands at all, I'm going to wall mount the fronts and rears, and there's a conveniently placed bookshelf for the rear centre. If I'd known I was going to come across another pair of 'eggs' so soon, I may have gone for the 3802. Settled for the 2802 (6.1), if you're interested in a spare egg , let me know.
