Oh and they're not sure when they are announcing the games as yet. Probably roundabout the same time as SKY announce theirs.

i asked this and they wouldnt give me a discount for renewing early when i called last week


however i just called them again and the prices have changed and now got it for £9.99 per month
with no minimum contract, you have do give 30 days notice to cancel.

i wasnt going to renew at the original price of £180 as the picture quality is quite poor and not a patch on sky, but as i got it for £120 for the year and more games into the bargain so i subscribed again.

Apparantly the police put a time limit on games chosen of 10am tomorrow so we should hear soon.

Also, according to posts over at digitalspy Setanta are doing their sports for £9.99pm with no 12 month contract - looks good value to me now - 9 month's Setanta for £90 for 46 EPL matches and all the other football and sports compared to £50/£60 for 50 EPL matches on Prem+. Looks even better for those that used to buy matches as one off's on PPV as instead of £8 for one game, £10 gets a whole month of football/sport.

I'll have to see how often each channel will be showing Pompey but as Setanta also show Bundesliga (I also follow Hamburg SV) it's looking like Setanta will be getting my money this season.

Be careful about the Bundesliga - Setanta have taken to simulcasting the golf on Setanta 1 in the evenings so people on freeview can watch it, meaning they no longer carry the live Friday evening match. Apparently Setanta 2 will be going 7 days a week (currently weekends only) in the near future, which will probably solve the problem, but given that they can't broadcast any of the Saturday afternoon matches live due to FA restrictions, it really resticts their Bundesliga coverage.

Cheers, that would make a difference. My final choice will be based on which channel has the most matches I actually want to see which is mainly Portsmouth and Hamburg games but if neither have enough showings for it to be worthwhile me subscribing then I'll stick to radio commentary and MOTD and save money.
