View Full Version : overclockers .co.uk
just discovered this site - not just for overclocking your PC - they supply anything and everything PC related, not bad prices either.
Just bought a new case from there because the one i had (from e-buyer) was complete tat, received it in two days and it is very high quality.
-Thoroughly impressed.

i woudn't say they supply everything, but they are reasonably well priced on some items and they last 3 orders i have made with them have been delivered when they should in the condition i would expect (last order placed yesterday for globalwin 802 case - hopefully they'll keep up the good service).
thats the same case i just received, the black one- very impressed. Well, when compared the the crap i got from E-buyer anyway!

i love the 802* from them (and others i think www.theoverclockingstore.co.uk and www.tekheads.co.uk also sell them)
i've used them about 12-15 times in the last 2 years, normally very fast service (longest wait was a week for a part i knew was out of stock when i ordered, normally i get the stuff within 24-36 hours depending on time of order).
most of my PC's bits are bought from there now unless there is a big price difference buying elsewhere or i can't get them from OCUK.
*I got one as part of my first order 22 months ago and it has lasted much better than any of the other cases i have bought from various places (despite being treated fairly roughly on occassion), i just have to remember to clean the dust out of it from time to time.

Dno, which case was this? I was just about to order a cheapo one from ebuyer. What was wrong with it... the PSU?
the nokia style one. The case was too small - very cheaply made - ie the metal is very thin, the plastic snaps realy easily.
....and oh the power supply. It came with a 300w one for AMD chips which basically stopped working properly within 2 months. This caused my pc to randomly keep ressetting its power. Had to buy a new one (not from ebuyer). In comparrison, the new one that i bought weighed about 4-5 times as much as the one that came from the case, this alone says something about ebuyers quality.
Personnaly i would steer clear of Ebuyer - i had alot of problems ordering with them and not just the case.
Have a look at the ATX case section on www.overclockers.co.uk
cheers for the info Dno, I was looking at a ebuyer case even cheaper than the nokia one, but oh well. Just need a cheapo (but reliable) one with psu for a pc I'm building for my mum.
