Does the 360 upscale via component?

I can't give you a definite answer sorry but whenever I watch a DVD on my 360 via component, my TV reports that it has changed to 576p. Its usually on 720p for games.

provided your tv is decent it should do a good enogu hjob of upscaling the picture...

I can tell no dif between my xbox 360 upscaled by the TV, and my sony upscalign dvd player...
