Great shots. The Whistler shot looks particularly dynamic.
I'm off to Vancouver and Whistler tomorrow. Can't wait. :)

I'm just in the process of making up a book of my pics so i can remember my trip in years to come :) I'm thinking that it could take a while to get it done!
Thanks for all the kind words everyone, it was my first holiday on my own, and i now want to do many more!

Stunning pictures matey, really makes me want to go back to Canada.
Can i ask about your processing technique, have your converted two images and blended them to get the higher dynamic range on them, or am i way off ?
So how much did you spend in Canada? It all added up while I was there so looking at where you've been it must've cost you a small fortune!!!

I was on my own which is cheaper in most places other than hotel costs! Approximate spend was 2 months wages  Ahhh well, it's not as though i take adventures like this all the time :)
I'm still trying to make my book, and it looks like it could take a while!
t00thless... A couple of the shots use HDR, but i'm not the greatest fan of the technique as it's so often overdone. Of the posted shots, the following use HDR in some way:
- Grouse Mountain, Vancouver - This one is overdone, and it just about came out ok i think. The weather didn't really help with normal photos that day!
- Whistler Village - More HDR here to make a photo shot into the sun work out
- CN Tower, Toronto - Maybe a little more subtle here, but it brings out the clouds
The rest of the photos are normal, most are polarised, and colours tweaked a bit as i quite like saturated colours.

Looking at those photos I guessed those three were HDRs, very nicely done mind. The only reason I could spot them, is that I recognise that a DSLR wouldn't have that amount of DR.

*Really* nice photos, would love to go there someday. Question: which side is the US side of Niagara Falls and which is the Canadian? Also, how big is that ferris wheel just to the left of the suspension bridge?

The land on the right is America, and on the left is Canada.
