I've got a Tosh2109 and R2 Rush Hour 2 disc and it doesn't seem to be working properly.

I've found two subtitle tracks but one doesn't have anything on it.
The layer change is in a horrible place and blurs the whole picture before taking about 10 seconds to change. It occurs just as Carter kills Hu Li.
The time taken to access anything from the menus is horribly slow.
If I select the special features menu I get music. However if I return then there is no music at all.

If anyone else is having probs with the disc on different machines then maybe there's a faulty batch of discs. Or maybe its just my machine.
Does anyone with a R1 copy suffer the same probs?? If not then I'll return the R2 and order the R1.

Cheers Stu G

Only thing I can suggest is try the disc on another player. Then you'll know if it's your player or the disk thats wrong. I have the R1 and it plays fine on my Tosh 210e.

I also had no probs playing my R1 version on a m8's Pioneer606D.
The layer change on the R1 is in a different place to yours, it occurs on my disc when:
Everyone is running out of the Casino coz that bomb in Jackie's mouth has exploded. The layer change happens during the first external shot of people running out of the casino
