There seems to be some doubt still over the R1 release date for "Legend - Collector's Edition", although it is listed at Amazon with an impressive range of features. The R2 is out on March 4. Any news on how the two stack up yet?
Likewise, the "real" "Ocean's Eleven" (Bapapapa will be insufferable right now!) is allegedly out in R2 on March 18...comparisons with the newly-released R1 yet? And any news of a R4 edition?

Where did you get the info about the March 4 R2 release of Legend? I take it this is the Ridley Scott film?
I've had the R1 version of Legend on pre-order for months now with still no sign of it.
Boink!

Yes indeed...Blackstar have made it available for preorder.
:)
They do seem to be the only ones, though...

Thanks for that, I'll have a look at Blackstar's site in a bit.
Found some info over at R2 Project:
Released by Fox, with 2.35:1 transfer & just a trailer listed as the only extra!
They've confirmed that it will be a version of the film with the Goldsmith score (one good thing, anyway) but no more information than that at the moment.
I've also had the R1 on pre-order at Play for about 15 months. I've been looking forward to this SE since it was first announced - mainly for the two different versions of the film (hasn't Ridley Scott edited a brand new cut of the film for the DVD?) and the promising list of extra's/documentary.
Hopefully, Fox will have obtained at least some of this material from Universal for the R2 disc and announce it at a later date. If not, then it may be a case of trying to buy this version at a reasonable price and continue the wait for the R1 SE!

Amazon still list both cuts of Legend as being on the R1 SE...when it arrives...as usual, the R2, for fifteen quid, doesn't sound so far like it's up to much. Unless the transfer is REALLY great!
:)
