Cheers. Ordered one. I too had been waiting for the Ultimate Collection, but this - plus Superman Returns idc - looks like a much better deal. Two (?) discs fewer overall, but I usually only watch the movies these days, and I've stopped kidding myself that I will ever have enough time to go back and watch the extras.

Got in before the price went up. Not really my favourite films but they are watchable and am interested in seeing the Donner cut and for that price can't really grumble.
Still let's see if they cancel it. If they do it'll be interesting to see what they do with the £3.99 book I ordered with it.

It says Deluxe Edition on the box. Is there an easy way to tell the difference?

Before I was going to order I wondered about Superman 3 but on checking supermancinema (http://www.supermancinema.co.uk/daily_planet/dvd2006/2006_disc_issues_qa.asp) it looks to be okay:

The Superman III Deluxe Edition disc features new artwork but the contents are the same as the 2001 disc. It only contains the movie and theatrical trailer and not the rest of the extras.

Q. Who does this affect?

A. Customers who bought the Region ONE Ultimate Collector’s Set. The Christopher Reeve collection and standalones are unaffected.
