I know it was supposed to be held back because of the Twin Towers scene, but when are they planning to release it?

Also any news on X-Men 2??

Spider-Man is out in the UK on May 10.

X-Men 2 (or X2, as they seem to be calling it) begins filming in a couple of months and is due for release in May 2003.

The twin towers shots were for the teaser only -
It had nothing to do with the release date...

I saw the full trailer for this, and though it looks good, at times its very CGI. One scene in particular has Spiderman swinging through the city then lands close to the camera, at which point he looks up. All CGI. IMO this close up could easily have been live action, and I hope the CGI is improved a bit for the cinema release.
