Corey Feldman and Corey Haim are coming to American television in July with a new reality show

Corey Haim and Corey Feldman have one of the most unique and storied friendships in Hollywood history. With eight shared film titles between them including The Lost Boys and License to Drive their onscreen chemistry was legendary. Now, nearly two decades later, the friends are back together on-screen and under one roof in The Two Coreys. Like the feature film You, Me & Dupree, Corey Haim comes to live with his old pal and his beautiful wife Susie. Tension and comedy ensue as the Feldmans deal with their challenging house guest.

I thought this was a sitcom at first, but it's a reality show due to premiere on the A&E channel in the US late July

Ah, the 80's - The decade of the Coreys. Will watch this for sure!

Not much difference between what America calls a sitcom and a reality TV show though, they are both scripted.

Just looked at the pictures of them - Haim does not look very much like he did when he was young. I don't think I'd have even recognised him, if I hadn't known it was him.

Didn't Robot Chicken spoof this 2 years ago??

This sounds brilliant!

Wonder if it'll get picked up over here though?

I've seen a sketch where they have to rescue the US President's daughters, quite funny :)

Just read a bit about this, it seems Haim had a drug induced stroke in 2001 which is maybe why he looks as though life has gotten the best of him. Claims to be clean and sober now though so it might make an interesting show.

The lost boys was one of my teen favourite films so I hope this turns into a watchable slice of TV.

Wikipedia has the following about the show...

In June 2006, it was announced by Variety magazine that Corey Haim would be reuniting with Corey Feldman in an improv/reality show titled The Two Coreys. The show is to focus on fictional versions of Haim and Feldman, with the comedy focusing on Feldman living with his wife and son, and Haim a bachelor re-entering Feldman's life and shaking up his comfortable suburban lifestyle. The cable network A&E issued a press release on September 26, 2006, stating it would run the series. Haim and Feldman began filming on December 4, 2006. The show's premiere is scheduled for July 29, 2007, at 10:00 p. m.

IMDB also has it down as a comedy, not just a pure reality series.

Sounds interesting!

Sounds like an American version of the Likely Lads.

Sounds like a cross between Curb your Enthusiasm and the Likely Lads :D

Indeed - are they well known enough over here for a UK channel to want to show this? I guess E4 or someone could comfortably get away with it.

Sweet! This sounds great I used love watching the Corey double act in the 80s, I think I'm still the only person in the world who owns Dream a Little Dream on DVD.

Haim has really slimmed down in the last couple of years (for example http://www.happygrrls.com/extras/whateverhappenedto.html), good on him. And Feldman's wife is hot!

Feldman was the better of the two. Haim was fairly interchangable with any teenager.

Always liked the 2 Coreys. My fave film featuring the pair has to be License to Drive. Still get the DVD out on the odd weekend :)

Looking forward to viewing this new show.

Anyone watching this?

Caught the 1st episode and found it highly scripted even by fake soap opera-reality TV standards. Does it get any better later on?

this is crap....boring and completely staged. Not going to bother with the rest of the series.

Sounds about as entertaining as a bout of diarrhoea.

Nostalgia for the sake of it sucks, especially when it is presented as 'reality' television.

Damn I keep meaning to get this I watched this so much when I was a kid although it might have had more to do with the Michael Jackson impersonations then the movie itself.

It gets more fake as it drags on. The only slightly real thing is in ep 4 I think, where Haim has a heart scare (due to his past which is discussed) and gets taken to hospital. Not that it stops him smoking as soon as he's released. Feldmans home is the epitome of pompous conceit - every wall has at least 2 pictures of himself .

Extreme bumpage!

I noticed that this is on the Biography channel at 9pm (could be 10pm actually) tonight, starting with a double bill.
