i was looking for car insurance as i've just passed my driving test recently :clap: :clap: :) but are there any good online insurers for 1st time drivers ?
i'm 23 and male so am expecting it to pretty high! are there any sites that have a Pricechecker system that shop for the best deal for you ??

And no, thats not a windup. They are owned by Admiral and are cheap for younger drivers.

My insurace is still stupidly high, but they were the cheapest I could find.

19 year old with Polo 1.4 16v - £1300 p.a

cheapest by a long way was direct line, for me.

25yr old, 2 years no claims, and a couple of speeding offenses, with a very high performace car - £1760. All the others were around £2500.

have used both but find AXA to be the cheapest plus you get a £10 Amazon.co.uk voucher as well.
