have you played both games, how good are they and which is better for online play?
how do they compare to rainbow 6 vegas?

Gears of war is better for single and multiplayer modes out of GoW and LP

rainbow 6 vegas is good but buggy online

Gears of War is good but I don't think it lives up to the hype.

If you like Rainbow Six and you haven't played GRAW 2, I can highly recommend that.

Gears of War over Lost planet, Rainbow six over both of them.

Rainbow six has this clever little thing where people die when you shoot them. Gears of war involves running up to people unloading a shotgun into their face 5 times and then you getting killed.

Gears of War is by far the better game. You really do need to play it.
