View Full Version : Matsui DVD player, region hack and black and white picture, help...

OK, this is a questinon for my little brother who has just bought his first region 1 release (American Pie 2). He has set the Matsui to play region 1 but gets a black and white picture. So the question is, how does he get colour?

Is it the Scart lead, the tv or the dvd player.

Look for a setting on the player (don't know the Matsui personally) either a switch or a menu setting, which offers a choice of NTSC/PAL/Auto (or similar) and set it to PAL.
