Been passed on a new site selling a couple of cheap brabantia bins. Been having a gander around amazon and it doesnt seem too bad compared to their prices for some similar stuff.

Well, I'll find out tomorrow. They said that they'd send it out yesteday and would arrive today. I replied asking what to do with the damaged one. They ignored that question an said they'd send it out today to arrive tomorrow so we'll see.

Just a quick word about Brabantia's excellent service.

We'd had one of their bins for 5 years and the plastic hinge on the lid cracked. One quick phone call and they sent out another whole lid free of charge.

Outstanding!

I bought a load of brabantia bin bags, with the Google £10 off it was cheaper than the in the shops but only just (~£7.50 on my order) because of the expensive P&P.

Sorry to go off topic - Anyone know where they sell replacement 'click locks' for the lids? I have the 40ltr Touch Bin...

Bought from Costco a couple of years ago. "They don't do spares".

according to the service parts pdf on the brabantia site a replacement catch it's only €5 inc. postage (if that's all you need) - a complete lid assembly is €40..
