View Full Version : dts system
I want to buy a dts system for my dvd player, preferably with dts es facility. So what amplifier should I get I am saving up so hopefully when I can do it I should have about £800 - 1000 to spend on the whole system (amplifiers, subwoofers and speekers). I don't know what is available but I don't want massive speakers small descrete ones would be preferable.

The model number of the Kefs mentioned by Baps are 'KHT 2005' by the way. You might be able to squeeze the Mission FS2-AV speakers under your budget too, they're virtually flat, and look even better than the Kefs in my opinion.

Audition them first!
I've heard the Kefs Vs. the Missions and in my opinion, the Kef 2005's won hands down. I found the Missions sounded very impressive for their size, and had great 'gadget appeal' but seemed to really struggle in the midrange.
Your mileage might vary - but don't buy these speakers blind!
