New camera buying advice?

I wonder if anyone would mind giving some advice/opinions, well not me for the mrs..

She is after a fairly decent camera for when she go's on nights out with friends etc. So basically small and good at taking shots in dark places etc

She was thinking around 100/150 as for what she wants i doubt anything cheaper would be anygood :shrug:

I'm not upto speed these days on whats what, so asking you good folk for some help :thumbs:

Bought this camera for a colleagues retirement present last week and he was very pleased. Reviews I read online suggested that the camera is excellent in low light conditions especially where you might not want to be using a flash all the time.
