Folks,
Is any one able to enhance Picture No. 4 (http://www.thedvdforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=473895) my entry from the photo comp. The mother of the young girl really likes the picture but I would like for some help in making it a bit (or a lot if need be) better than in its current form. In particular the plants in the back ground seem very dull to me? (but what do I know :) )
Thanks
Rabbi
You'll want to post a link to a full size original for someone to do a good job. To me the background looks OK, you don't want to "jazz up" the background as this would detract from the subject. As the little girl is out of focus or a little motion blur it might make a good pic to give the whole image some softness in a kind of fairies at the bottom of the garden sense.

original (http://farm1.static.flickr.com/228/484771666_323b726a7e_o.jpg) Thanks for the notes. It is of no real imprtance to have any thing done as they are very happy with the way it is. It was just me and and wayward thinking :)

could do more if I had a RAW file to play with, the green can be toned down but I'm working on a crappy 17in crt so its a bit iffy on colour
you could also try something like this....

Baffled, Nana,
Two differnet variations both of which look great. Will add them when I do the CD of the day.
Cheers
I find Lightroom great for this sort thing, all the tools you want at easy reach.
(I have the pictures set to private atm on Flickr, I'll remove them once your done)
