View Full Version : will a modded toshiba SD210 play RCE discs?

please can someone help with this, will a multiregion modded sd210 player play rce discs? as i was all geared up to buy one of these today and went down to richer sounds in romford and the guy in there told me that it wont is this true as i was sure that it did?.

all he kept going on about was this other player some cyberhome thingy which looked like a brick and by the way he was going on about it i think they must have over ordered on them.

so if you have a tosh thats been modded for multiregion could you please get back to me and let me know as i rally want one of these players to go with my tosh tv, thanks, neill

Should be fine, you`ll just need to spin a "normal" R1 disc first, then eject and insert the RCE disc.

thanks for the reply justin, i was just reading up on this as you replied and it says that the menu system wont work on an rce disc as eveytime you press a button in the menu it goes back to the rce screen and you have to keep using the go to button all the time.

this is a real shame as i dont fancy having to change discs all the time if i wish to play an rce film, i have had enough of that crap with my PS2 and region X lol

what player would you recommend for around the £150 to £200 mark that would give a good pic on my tosh rear projection tv mate?

I got my Tosh 210e from www.leconcepts.com and it plays RCE titles fine and dandy. Final Fantasy played no problem.
