After the crap that was the FA cup final yesterday I took my son and his pal to this this afternoon. An excellent game with lots of determination, inventiveness and guts on both sides. Really enjoyed myself at Wembley. Neutral really but happy that Morecambe won with Sammy McIlroy being in charge. Both teams a credit to the game unlike yesterday :-(

I saw a bit of this match as it was being shown on the Sky Sports News Channel and managed to see the Morecambe equalizer and then their winner. I had to laugh when Sammy McIlroy came running onto the pitch when they scored their second goal only to fall over

It seemed a good game and much better than the over-hyped one that was played yesterday.

Just back, and as Morecambe are my time I am absolutely ecstatic! We've punched above our weight this season, and Sammy McIllroy have instilled belief in the players that saw us come from a goal down in the semis and today. Fantastic match, fantastic atmosphere, I was two rows behind the goal where Danny scored the winner, amazing

It was a very good match and I'm pleased for Morcombe as I like to see new teams entering the league rather old league teams returning straight away as it adds variety and is boring when it's the same teams all the time.

Alan B did u see what happened to the manager after he fell over? ******* funny!! Morecambe number 8 player hugged him and then promptly threw him halfway up the pitch!!! Gotta be on YouTube at some point!

A bit gutted that City didn't win. Was up on the 5th level but the view was pretty good. And the Exeter fans outnumbered the Morecombe fans 4:1.

But Morecombe did deserve it :(

They where tight, padding down and checking in womens handbags, but we didn't have any food so I don't know about issues there.

Did Gill's 'headbutt' make contact or did the Morecombe player make much more of it?

well done Morecambe, when I saw the four teams in the playoffs I assumed they were the underdogs-all the others were previously league teams I think.

May well be worth a weekend away there incorporating some football next year, certainly beats Dagenham who are up as well!

Removed the tops from our water bottles, but aside from that they were fine about our food/drink
