Anyone know if this is the digipack, or just a plastic amaray version?

How does this compare with the R1 DVD? I have the old R2 and prefer it to the R1 2 disc. The R1 had a washed out picture and even some dialogue missing from what I remember.

This R2 SE is missing the bits of dialogue (detailed here (http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=298)), though I didn't find it too noticeable. The newly released 15th Anniversary R1 edition with the gasoline can packaging has a new transfer though, and it has restored the missing dialogue.

I think I will keep the old R2 then.
I compared the UK edition with the new US edition, the transfer of the US edition is really good and better then the UK edition. But it lacks the interviews with chris penn, etc, and has some useless features about the game, which puts that DVD release a notch down for me. I would basically say go for the R2 or keep it if you already own it.
